The directors (formerly partners) and our staff have many years of experience dealing with all aspects of owner managed businesses.
We pride ourselves on our friendly personal service and we endeavour to try to keep the same team working on your behalf wherever possible to ensure continuity.
By doing that, we get to understand your business and its specific requirements so you will get the most efficient and cost effective accountancy service.

JOHN A BANBROOK FCA

John qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975 and became partner of the firm in 1976. In the office, his specialities include business start-ups and charity accounts. He is also the firm’s IT expert and heads our management information and systems department. John is also director in overall control of the bookkeeping and payroll department.
John is married with two children and spends a lot of his time being taxi to his children! He is also an avid supporter of and season ticket holder at Coventry City FC. He is currently treasurer to Marcus Hall Testimonial Fund. |

JON M HIGGITT FCA ATII

Jon qualified as a chartered accountant in 1980 and was made a partner in 1982. Jon is the company’s internal tax expert specialising in tax and estate planning and also specialises in the medical profession. He takes the overall responsibility for administration, health and safety and maintenance of our premises.
Jon has two grown up children. He is a keen golfer and is a member of Kenilworth Golf Club. Jon is a trustee to a number of local charities and is actively involved in fund raising for local causes. |

ROB ANDERSON FCA ATII

Rob qualified as a chartered accountant in 1987 and became a partner in 1993. He specialises in dealing with family owned companies and those in the financial service sector. Rob is the director responsible for the audit and accounts office.
Rob is married with five children. In his spare time, he acts as treasurer for Kenilworth Wardens football section and also manages and coaches their Under 13’s team. He too is a Coventry City supporter. |

MARK MCLEAN FCA

Mark qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994 and was our office manager until 1st April 2009 when he became our fourth director. He specialises in new business start-ups, charities and auditing.
He is also married and has two young children. Besides spending time with his family, Mark loves proper cars, Triumphs in particular, going on holiday to the AULD country (Scotland) and drinking real ale. He also enjoys music, golf and a leisurely stroll or jog. Mark always has a supply of delicious E-number filled snacks in his bottom drawer! |

Darren qualified as a chartered accountant in 1993 with a local firm and joined Fox Evans in April 2007 as audit and accounts manager.

Kay is our computer specialist. She is expert on Sage Line 50 and regularly runs training courses at our office or on client’s premises. She also has a very extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access databases and can help on all those “how do I do this” questions.
Kay will shortly be on maternity leave. |

Donna qualified as a certified accountant in 2002 and joined us in 2005. Donna acts as our bookkeeping and payroll manager and also takes responsibility for writing our newsletter and organising staff social events.
Outside of work, she also enjoys socialising with friends, cooking delicious vegetarian meals, baking cakes, eating out, shopping and reading. Her favourite things are rosé wine, chocolate and the colour pink! |

Alison started at Fox Evans in January 2004 and is secretary to John Banbrook and Mark McLean and is our practice administrator. She is also secretary to the clerk of the Coventry Freemen’s Charity.
She enjoys spending time with her family, holidays in the sun, keeping fit, shopping and is partial to the odd gin & tonic! |
